home again...home again....

we're baaack....

we were chauffered into our driveway just after 7 last night...two pooped little girls (who did SUCH an excellent job with the whole traveling thing!) were quickly tucked into bed....mike ran to grab us some chinese take-out and a redbox....and we vegged!

fortunately mike is home with us today...enjoying a nice low-key memorial day at home...regrouping....laundering....grocerying and CVSing (would you believe i saved over $45 with manufacturer and "e-coupons" (the kind you load onto your kroger card) for a total savings of $66 on my kroger transaction!)....sorting through the myriads of photos to decide which ones to print and share with you....reading my chapters to be prepared for my first meeting of summer Bible study (you'd think i'd have remembered to pack it read on vacation--whoops!).
anyway...our trip was fabulous. such a blessing to be able to introduce my grandparents to our little kate and a much bigger elizabeth than they remember (they last time they saw libs she was kate's age...so yeah....LOTS has changed!). we were also blessed to have my parents along...they were not only helpful with the girls...but also a lot of fun! we did the beach thing...the zoo thing...LOTS of the swimming in the pool thing. mike and i had a date....a nice dinner sitting outside overlooking the beach....and oh-so much more. oh...and kate learned to move...kind of a crawl/army crawl/slither....but she's on the move!
i promise to post LOTS of pictures very soon....just gotta catch my breath first.
