thanks Huggies....

come back tuesday for some smiles and lots of pictures. we've had a fabulous weekend...hosting a surprise party...a visit from a dear, dear college friend and her sweet little fam....new dresses from grandma and grandpa....swinging and outside fun....a dinner out with the fam at our favorite mexican restaurant...even a delightful few hours of shopping and relaxing sans kiddos for mama. but first i just had to share my "steal" today...

a big thanks to the super fabulous internet printable coupons huggies chose to release JUST in time for walgreens sale...and leslie (sweet miranda's mommy...my "cousin" of sorts--not sure what you really call your mom's cousin's daughter!) who passed along TONS and TONS of the huggies $3 off and $5 off coupons from coupon.com. i made the rounds today, visiting not one, not two, not three, but a grand total of 5 walgreens to find the diapers and sizes i was looking for in stock. i whipped out my coupons, and voila...here is my loot. quite a start for a stockpile for "the baby in mommy's tummy" as elizabeth loves to say...and some more size 5's for kate. my grandtotal...after taking off the $110 in register rewards i earned (which will be spent on perhaps more diapers, definitely some toilet paper, laundry detergent and other household essentials) was....drumroll please....$92.29...OR a mere $2.80 per jumbo pack of diapers! guess its a good thing i cleaned out the closets last weekend and we have lots of storage room--i think we're going to need it! they were literally two trunkloads FULL in our little car.
