{friends}

in four days my jilly-girl and i will be in washington (the state...the gorgeous state i've never been to...which is icing on an already incredibly sweet cake!)...sitting around a table with 10 lovely, dear, sweet friends (and four of our little dear babes). i'm a bit giddy with excitement...and also, admittedly a wee bit nervous, as i think about flying across the country by myself with jillian. but i just know it is going to be worth it...beyond worth it, actually.

surely there will be lots of chatting and laughing...perhaps some tears as we share together...there will be good eats...there will be relaxing in lovely blue adirondack chairs...walking to the nearby beach...pictures...celebration of friendship...and i'm guessing there will be many late nights and not a whole lot of sleep. :)

i cannot wait to hug the necks of each of these delightful friends....this lady and this lady and this lady..and this one...and this one and this one...and her (yes...seriously...all the way from "down under"), her, her, her...

and there are many sweet, dear ladies (like her and her and her and her) who will be close to our hearts, even though they are not with us...

i'm sure there will be blog posts to come...

I've had a friend fly from here (Abu Dhabi) all the way to Washington state with a six month old and everything went very well. I KNOW you can do it Amanda!
