the weather has been incredibly gorgeous, so even though we are planning to head to the lake THIS weekend while my sister and bro-in-law are there, we couldn't resist going up for Memorial day weekend as well. look at all the fun we had!

our children were slightly into wearing their goggles...but only when they weren't in the water.
had to include both of these...i can't get over how sweet she looks in the first one...guess who she is looking at...her poppy, of course!

savoring the breeze on our evening boat cruise...kate really enjoyed standing front and center and checking everything out!
kate had an absolute blast in the water...getting braver and braver with each passing moment!

she got such a kick out of "jumping" to mommy from the dock...over and over!
and might i mention that this "little" girl decided upon arriving home yesterday that she was ready to conquer the stairs...yep, she climbed all the way to the top...watch out world!
now for a couple days at home (literally, just a couple...) before we head back to the lake thursday!

Oh- and I am just imagining how amazing it would be to have a place at the lake to go to in the summer - you must love it!

Wow! You guys have been so super busy lately. Love all the outdoors and water pictures. Hasn't it been great to finally get a warm up? Lilla is loving every minute of it! Anna, on the other hand, she'll just stay in the baby pool for a bit, thank you very much. LOL
